Conducted an event in office today. It was an okay affair. One of the memorable things would be when I placed chocolates in the front row to entice people to come up and sit in closer to the stage. But it flopped as the junta picked the chocolate and ran back again. Had to manage this with a cold as well..
Post the event had dinner with Kris, the CEO of Infosys. Spoke to him at length and asked him few questions. He was more than eager to answer and I was surprised by how down to earth he is.
All in all, a lovely day.

Lots of times in your life you think whats the next huge wave gonna be. I realize i am a part of one thats about to finish now, the potter mania. Suddenly today i didn't see the usual lot of people around me, replies to messages are delayed, calls aren't picked in time lo! sometimes they aren't even picked at all and the best of 'em all, a radio jockey announcing on air that he hopes everyone in the city not reading Harry Potter is tuned into the station.
This dawned on me too late and i haven't yet picked up my copy of the sellout yet, but sure as hell, I am going to be drawn into the craze that JK Rowling has on people. All i know is that i need to know how it ends? What has JKR got in store for the future of the world, for there won't be no more long queues lined up in front of stores in the cold freezing night to wait for treasure to unfold. will this be the last one of it all. makes me wonder....
